The OU in Wales in partnership with the Wales Student Volunteer Panel and Lorena, the Area Association Rep for Wales are hosting this session on the 15th February between 8-9.30pm. We are pleased that we will also be joined by representatives for OU Pride (the OU LGBT+ student group – formally Plexus).
What to expect
Join us for an event on building an inclusive student community, in recognition of LGBT+ History Month. We will look at what community means to you, inclusion, representation, allyship, OU Pride, and the LGBT+ community in Wales.
Welcome to all
The event is aimed to be relevant and open to all, with a broad inclusion and community focus. So please do feel welcome to come along.
This is a very interactive session with prompts and discussions. There will be space for questions afterwards and time for socialising and chatting when the presentation is finished.
You can access the Microsoft Teams event here, and also see other great events we are hosting through the Students Association.
