Tis the season to be merry, full, and thankful, and we want to take a moment to celebrate all our incredible Volunteers and Reps who have supported The Association as part of Volunteers Day.
Around the World, Volunteers are selflessly required to aid progression, support others and make change, often to no celebration or fanfair. Whether it is a couple of hours in a lifetime, or a more committed role, every second of volunteering has an impact, and the ones at The Students Association are no different.
The cogs of The Students Association would splutter and come to a halt without their unrelenting passion and dedication that is felt across the board. With over 500 active Volunteers and Reps spread up and down the country, they all work with Association colleagues towards making The Association a student-focussed environment that constantly strives to improve the University experience and offer support and guidance across the board.
Every corner of The Association is impacted by Volunteers and there are over 40 roles showcasing just that. From the Central Executive Committee and Senate Reference Group, to Online Meet-Up Hosts who have held digital events throughout the pandemic, Library Study Volunteers to our ever-growing team of Micro-Volunteers, they have all played a part in improving the student experience for Association members.
So thank you, to every single one of our Volunteers and Reps across the board. We can’t wait to continue working with you and helping you make a mark on the Association while bettering yourself and making lifelong connections along the way.
