Door 24: Festive Events

Whether you live on your own and would like some company, or want to do something different over the festive period, your search is over. Please read below...

It’s Christmas Eve. How did that happen?

The Christmas holidays are a time of being kind, being together, enjoying each other’s company. So, without further ado, I would like to introduce you to the events organised by the Students Association volunteers for the festive period:

Christmas Eve Community Drop-in

Come and have a chat with other OU students. The atmosphere is relaxed, the discussion is flowing and you will have to bring your own drink. And a silly hat, perhaps. And, definitely, your wit and charm.

Christmas Day quiz

Students love quizzes, that’s a fact. And after spending the day cooking, eating, snoozing and making conversation face to face or online (or reading a book), you have the perfect excuse to join us! Show off your knowledge or just come along for the fun of it.

Saturday Coffee and Chat

This is the Boxing Day special. I expect my level of conversation to grow at the same rate as my coffee intake! A perfect opportunity to start your day in good company.

And the fun doesn’t stop there!

The Students Association volunteers organise lots of online events, they are open to all OU students. If you fancy meeting other students, make some friends, discuss issues affecting students or show off your knowledge, this is the place for you. You can find all the details on the Association’s website.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
