Fantastic Freshers Goodies and Where to Find Them

Calling all new OU students! This is your guide on how to get your hands on some special Freshers 2020 goodies!

Please note this post relates to the Freshers activities in 2020.

If there's one thing we love more than Freshers, it's sending out Freshers goodies to our new students! This year, we have two ways you can snag some freebies for yourself.

Freshers Freebies

It's a universal fact that everyone loves freebies. Due to overwhelming demand at our previous Freshers, this time around we've decided to do a prize draw for our Freshers freebies so that it keep things completely fair!

To be in with a chance of obtaining some free goodies for yourself, all you have to do is sign up to the OU Students Association monthly newsletter during our Freshers fortnight (a.k.a between Monday 27 January and Friday 7 February!).  Then, after the closing date, we will randomly select a whopping 900 students from the list of new subscribers and send them a bunch of exciting freebies! Easy, right?

Show us your study station Prize Draw

Whether you're on the bus, in the library, down the pub, or at a desk, we reckon study spaces are extremely important for any student.

That's why this year we want to see your study spaces! At some point over the Freshers period, we'll put out a post on our Facebook and Twitter pages where you can submit a picture of your study spaces. Even better, we'll then randomly pick five lucky entrants who will receive either an OU hoodie in the colour of their choice or a backpack! But remember: you can only enter the competition via a specific post on our social media, so make sure to keep an eye out for it!
