Let’s start 2022 with a blast!
I am so happy to finally be able to announce the main and enormous event the whole Google Developer Student Club community will have this year! The Solution Challenge!
In 2015, the United Nations created 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs) and aimed to achieve them by 2030. These 17 SDGs have been agreed upon by all 193 United Nations Member States and it aims to end poverty, ensure prosperity, and protect the planet.

For the 2022 Solution Challenge, your mission is to create a project that contributes to solving one or more of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals using Google technologies.
If you are a member of the Google Developer Student Club at The Open University then you have probably already heard about this. Some of you are already working on projects to participate with.
If you’re new to the OU GDSC, read on to learn more about the 17 UN sustainable development goals. Then, watch the video at the bottom of the page to see if this gets your creative juices flowing towards finding an innovative solution to one or more of the problems.
