World space week is coming and to mark this the Space Society have some competitions to win society goodies, including a writing competition. 500 words max, poetry or prose, facts or fiction related to the world space week theme of women in space, the best piece wins a hoodie. Send us your best space photograph for chance to win a mug. Or if art and craft is your thing a photo of your creation on the theme of space and/or women in space to win a mission patch the only limitation is your imagination.

There is also a kids arts and crafts class (same theme as the adult class) with a soft toy Captain Tardi McTardiface, the society mascot, for the winner in each age group. Don't forget to add the child's age!
All entries to be emailed to ouspacesociety@outlook.com by midnight on Thurs 7th Oct and the winners will be contacted by email on the 10th Oct.
You can enter any or all of writing, photo and arts and crafts but only one entry per person per class please. The completion is open to everyone but if you are in the slightest bit interested in space you are welcome to join (for free) the Space Society, drop an email to ouspacesociety@outlook.com with your name and OU affiliation (past and present students and staff all welcome)
