2018 was a big year for the Association. One of my favourite projects to work on was our podcasts series – from mental health, to student-led projects and an audio tour of The Open University campus, there’s an episode for every student. Here are a few of my favourites…
-
1 On mental health and wellbeing
In the very first episode of our 'We are OUstudents' podcast series, Nicci, Jodie, Sammi and Hannah chat about all things mental health.
-
2 On the OU campus
Nicky from our Volunteering team takes a virtual tour around the OU's Walton Hall campus in Milton Keynes. Found out about the history of the site, it's buildings and the people who gave them their names - including Baroness Boothroyd, Jennie Lee and Harold Wilson. With special guests Daniel Weinbren (Curriculum Manager and OU Historian) and Ruth Cammies (OU Archivist).
-
3 On caring and dementia
Our Sammi interviews Jillian, a Dementia Friends champion, about how OU students with caring responsibilities can find support and community. To find out more head over to oustudents.com/support
