St. David’s Day 2021 Competition!

Share your Welsh-themed crafts and bakes in this exciting competition...

St. David’s Day, on 1st March, is a day to celebrate Saint David, the patron saint of Wales.

To mark the occasion, Area Association Representative for Wales, Lorena, has come up with a fantastic competition for all OU students in Wales to take part in!

To be in with a chance of winning an ECoffee cup from the OU Students Shop or a WRU backpack, you need to enter a photograph of a St. David’s Day craft you’ve made (e.g. a dragon made from paper, a painting of a castle, etc) and/or a St. David’s Day treat you’ve baked or cooked (e.g. Welsh cakes, Cawletc).

You can submit your entries either on the competition post (posted on Thursday 25 February 2021) on the OU Students Association Wales Facebook page, or by email to oustudents-community@open.ac.uk

You can enter one photograph of a cooked item and one photograph of a crafted item, but you will only be eligible for winning one prize. The winner of the Cook prize will win an ECoffee cup from the OU Students Shop, and the winner of the Craft prize will win a WRU backpack!

The competition closes at 7pm on Tuesday 2 March 2021 – good luck! Full Terms and Conditions are available here.
