There’s still time: MSc in Environmental Management scholarships close on 31st July

If you're interested in climate change and sustainability issues, there's some good news - the OU is offering scholarships for the MSc in Environmental Management

Our planet is on borrowed time and the need for green energy solutions is more urgent than ever. The climate change crisis poses a real threat to humanity, which is why finding solutions to real world problems is so crucial.

We recognise the need to promote STEM subjects and want to support those aspiring to work in the sciences so that they can take that all important next step. That is why the OU is offering a limited number of scholarships for low-income students wanting to study an MSc in Environmental Management. These awards have generously been sponsored by North Energy Associates, a company once operated and owned by one of our alumni, Professor Nigel Mortimer.

If you hold a bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering discipline from a UK university, or the equivalent – we want to hear from you. Through this qualification you’ll expand your knowledge of environmental protection and natural resource management, developing key skills to help you advance your career in STEM and Earth Sciences.

You’ll examine current local and global concerns in areas such as legislation and policy, and natural resource management, and develop analytical skills to help assess the issues and improve environmental performance in all sectors.

If you have a passion for sustainable energy and want to play a part in tackling the climate change crisis, we can help. Deadline for submissions is Saturday 31 July.
