What do COP26 and OU students have in common?

You may have heard a lot about COP26 in the news lately, but did you know that there are OU students helping drive our world towards a greener future, too?

Green Entrepreneur Showcase – OU Student Voice Week

Tuesday, November 16, 2021 – 18:00 to 19:00

All Open University students are invited to join this session exploring green entrepreneurship.

This event links to the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26), which is happening in Glasgow the week before Student Voice Week, from October 31 to Friday November 12.

You can learn more about COP26 on the UN Climate Change Conference 2021 website.

The session will showcase OU students who have been motivated by their studies to develop green/sustainable initiatives. It will be a chance to hear directly from students about how their OU study has inspired them to drive forward actions that support the goals of COP26.

There will be the opportunity for attendees to ask the students questions in a panel question and answer session after the presentations. Panel members will include the students who have presented, as well as Andy Lane, OU Professor of Environmental Systems, and Richard Blundel, OU Professor of Enterprise and Organisation.

Book your place via the online registration form for the Green Entrepreneur Showcase. Registration closes at 4pm on Tuesday 16 November.
