Dirt, Dragons, and Dictators: A Curious Histories' London Special

The Tokenhouse, Moorgate, London, EC2R 6DAOpen SU is partnering with Curious Histories to bring you a London show featuring three eccentric, biographically-flavoured tales. There's no need to be studying history as the talks will be of general interest but if you are studying the following courses, you may find them particularly appealing: A113, A223, A225, A327, and A883 (from the history strand, of course).
The Big Blether

2 Careers and employability

Work out or work on your career tasks – various sessions
Block out time to progress your plans and join us in our supportive sessions in the company of other OU students.
- Career Together, first Thursday of every month, is your time to work on anything from your CV, LinkedIn profile or a job application.
- Join Silent steps: structure your career reflections, Tuesday, 26 May, to work out your own thoughts on a career question or to clarify your goals and next steps. Be guided through a series of coaching questions that each participant reflects on individually and silently.
- Considering postgraduate study (with live Q&A) – Monday, 11 May, 6:30pm–7:45pm. Meet academics representing a range of OU Masters programmes, learn about support available from the OU’s Careers and Employability Services, and explore the potential benefits of postgraduate study for your career.
- Kick-start your career with Graduate Gateway Live: 9–11 June 2026, a three-day programme of live events supporting all those completing their qualification this year, covering postgraduate study, job search strategy, LinkedIn, navigating career roadblocks, CVs and interviews, and a GenAI (generative artificial intelligence) practical skills workshop.
- Career Together, first Thursday of every month, is your time to work on anything from your CV, LinkedIn profile or a job application.
