Earth Day poster competition: alternatives to plastic

To raise awareness of Earth Day this year we are hosting a competition to create a poster promoting alternatives to plastic.

We want to hear your ideas about how to reduce plastic by using more eco-friendly alternatives. This could be anything from reusable water bottles to zero-waste shopping. We are excited to see your posters displaying your ideas!

The way you design your poster is totally up to you. You could use your Microsoft 365 account (which comes free with being an OU student) to design a poster in Word or a PowerPoint slide, you could hand draw a poster, make a mood board or use any other software of your choice (your poster should not exceed 250 words).

Enter by emailing your poster to oustudents-insights@open.ac.uk

The competition opens on Earth Day on Monday 22 April and closes on Friday 3 May.

Two of our Environment and Sustainability volunteers will choose four winners to receive a £50 Ethical Superstore voucher!
