The Open University has partnered with Santander Universities to offer two £5,000 scholarships to support OU students during the 2025/26 academic year. This scholarship is designed to help with education-related costs – from tuition fees and course materials to accommodation and career development.
Who can apply?
- Open to current OU students (full-time equivalent) who are enrolled in any year of study during the 2025/26 academic year – in undergraduate or postgraduate study.
- Full-time study with The Open University equates to completing 120 credits worth of study within a single, seasonal academic year (for example, two 60 credit modules).
- 18+, UK resident and qualifies as a Home Fee Status student.
- You don’t have to be a Santander customer.

- Log in, click ‘Get Started’ and complete the application form and online assessment.
