<div class="fr-view"><p>Applications are now open for new Committee members for our three Student Support Groups &ndash; Black, Asian &; Minority Ethnic Students Group, Disabled Students Group and OU Pride.</p>
<p>We are looking for applicants to fill the following positions for each group:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Chair</strong></li>
</ul>
<p>The Chair will lead the Committee in creating a strategy for the Group, and will support the Committee to be effective in their roles in delivering this mandate.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Vice-Chair</strong></li>
</ul>
<p>The Vice-Chair works closely with the Chair of the Committee &ndash; they will agree on sharing certain tasks between themselves.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Communications Officer</strong></li>
</ul>
<p>The Communications Officer focuses on communicating with members of the Group on the activities and plans of the Committee.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Events Officer</strong></li>
</ul>
<p>The Events officer focuses on designing and delivering a programme of events that will help support the group and develop its community.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Secretary</strong></li>
</ul>
<p>The Secretary is responsible for providing administrative support to the Committee to deliver the agreed strategy of the Group.</p>

<p>Each role will be for a <strong>two-year</strong> term, starting on <strong>Wednesday, 1 January 2025</strong>.</p>
