With December just days away, it is with festive delight that I can announce the 2022 Advent Calendar is back for another year!

This fabulous month of festive fun includes 25 days of featured articles and activities – we have quizzes, baking, making, discounts and even our first ever #TwitterDisco

Keep your eye out on The Hoot through the month of December and give us a follow over @TheHootStudents so that you don’t miss a single magical moment!

Forget Elf on the Shelf – this year (by student request) Mr Owl will be hoot and aboot counting you down for Christmas @open_engagement (Twitter) and here on The Hoot in a weekly post.

Have your own OU Owl and fancy joining in? Use #OwlBeHomeForChristmas on Twitter and Instagram to join in the festive fun.

Wishing you a fantastic start to the 2022 Festive Season and don’t forget to defrost your Michael Bublé ready for Thursday 1st December.
