<div class="fr-view"><p><strong>The Edge Foundation are looking for students in progression pathways (from FE college to OU study) to take part in a research project entitled Tertiary journeys: how do students navigate third-cycle education institution partnerships in the UK?</strong></p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.edge.co.uk/">Edge Foundation</a> is undertaking a study into the experiences of students participating in progression pathways between FE colleges and universities in the UK. We want to understand students’ experiences to help improve how colleges and universities work together. ;</p>
<p>This research is interested in your journey through tertiary education (post-16), where you have moved from one sort of institution to another. You will have an opportunity to reflect on:</p>
<ul>
<li>your motivations to continue education.</li>
<li>what your journey has looked like and the challenges you’ve faced.</li>
<li>what you have achieved during your education.</li>
<li>and what you might achieve in the future.</li>
</ul>
<p>Participants will have an interview, which will take approximately 45 minutes, including:</p>
<ul>
<li>a 5–10-minute independent pre-interview exercise which should be completed prior to the interview date and time.</li>
<li>a 30-minute one-to-one online interview, which will take place at the agreed interview date and time via Zoom. ;</li>
<li>interviews are available to be scheduled at your convenience from September to December 2024.</li>
</ul>
<p>The results of this research will form the basis of peer reviewed journal articles and a research report published by the Edge Foundation. This research adheres to BERA Ethical Guidelines for Research (2024) including on consent, anonymity, and the storage of your data.</p>
