OU Black student networks: it’s time to celebrate
Saturday 11 July: 10am–4pm
Black and Black mixed-heritage students are invited to celebrate the end of exams with a visit to The Open University campus in Milton Keynes.
Join to connect across faculties, hear from inspiring speakers, and enjoy a guided tour of the campus. It is a chance to be present, build connections, and share the moment together.
If you are unable to travel, you are very welcome to join online. The main speaker session will be streamed, so you will not miss out.

Fraud, Data and Emerging Risks

Mike Haley, the CEO of Cifas, which is the UK’s fraud prevention service, will provide a data-led overview of the types of fraud currently causing the greatest harm to individuals and wider society. He is the guest speaker for an online event hosted by the Business School's Centre for the Public Understanding of Finance (PUFin).
Money matters with Haider Ali

The Black STEM Hub team will be joined by guest speaker Haider Ali to explore how the student loans system works, the changes expected in the coming years, and what you can do now to feel more confident about repayments when the time comes.This session was extremely popular last year, so we encourage you to reserve your place early. If you’re unable to attend live, the session will be recorded, so you can catch up at a time that suits you.
