<p><span lang="EN-US" data-contrast="none">Patrice completed her studies for a BA (Hons) Design and Innovation (with Business) in 2020 and is the Association’s Vice President for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion for the 2020/2022 term.</span><span lang="EN-GB" data-contrast="none"> </span><span data-ccp-props="{";201341983";:0,";335559739";:160,";335559740";:259}"> </span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US" data-contrast="none">Patrice is a voice of reason, change, support and representation on behalf of all students and those from backgrounds with protected characteristics. She advises and encourages the consistent implementation and adherence to equality, diversity and inclusion policies, in addition to providing support and guidance to the Disabled Students Group, OU Pride and the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Students Group.</span><span data-ccp-props="{";201341983";:0,";335559739";:160,";335559740";:259}"> </span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US" data-contrast="none">Patrice started volunteering at the Association because she wanted to make a difference and to be an example for other students, which is something she has undoubtedly achieved. Patrice has continuously strived to highlight challenges students face in their educational journey, and the importance of having a voice within the wider student community and the University.</span><span data-ccp-props="{";201341983";:0,";335559739";:160,";335559740";:259}"> </span></p>
