My name is Isabelle Hoyet and I am the Representative for International Students at Open SU.
At a previous student consultation, international students told me that they find it difficult to locate information specifically for them, as it is spread over too many separate pages. Students also said that clearer signposting to resources would be helpful.
Following this feedback, I have worked together with Open SU staff to create the International Students Hub. The hub was launched recently on the Open SU website and can be found under the Get involved section of the website. The hub brings together key information and support to help international students navigate their studies, connect with others, and make the most of their student experience.
The International Students Hub provides guidance on:
- How to get started at the OU
- Student community
- Study skills
- Support
- Careers and employability
- Student voice
