Vote Kit Renard for President

<div class&equals;"fr-view"><p>Don&&num;8217&semi;t worry folks&comma; I&&num;8217&semi;m not going to rehash my manifesto&excl; You all know <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;secure&period;cesvotes&period;com&sol;V3-4-0&sol;opensu&sol;en&sol;home&quest;bbp&equals;92254&amp&semi;x&equals;-1" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank" rel&equals;"noopener noreferrer">where<&sol;a> to read it&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>I&&num;8217&semi;m Kit Renard&period; Currently a Level 2 English Literature and Creative Writing student&comma; but I&&num;8217&semi;ll be starting Level 3 in October&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>I&&num;8217&semi;m a disabled queer trans man from Glasgow&comma; and I love to volunteer&period; I&&num;8217&semi;ve held loads of different roles around OpenSU&comma; from the Student Senate Reference Group to Chair of Pride&period; I also volunteer out with the SU in roles ranging from the board of Trans Pride Scotland to legal tribunals such as Children&&num;8217&semi;s Hearing Panels&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>This means I draw upon a broad range of experience&comma; something I think is key to being President of the SLT&period; You don&&num;8217&semi;t just need to be a leader&comma; you need to understand the various different aspects of OpenSU and the Open University&comma; from the inside <em>and<&sol;em> out&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>But I don&&num;8217&semi;t only bring experience with the mechanisms of the SU&excl; One of the things I&&num;8217&semi;m proudest of is bringing Pride through a period of turmoil to the fabulous space we have today&period; I worked hard with the committee &lpar;KJ&comma; Oskar&comma; Kevin&comma; and Kathy&rpar; to make Pride something to be proud of&period; We&&num;8217&semi;ve had so many amazing events&period; We&&num;8217&semi;ve stood up for the most marginalised when the OU wouldn&&num;8217&semi;t&period; If I&&num;8217&semi;m elected&comma; my one regret will be having to leave the Pride committee&excl;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>I want to bring this dedication to students all the way to the top&comma; and I can only do that if you vote Kit Renard &num;1 on the 17th April&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Thanks for reading&comma; and best of luck to all our incredible candidates&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>P&period; S&period; If you want a President who has the blessings of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence from the House of Nunsense&comma; vote Kit Renard &num;1&excl;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<div id&equals;"zfWrap">&NewLine;&Tab;&Tab;<figure class&equals;"zfMedia zf-image">&NewLine; <div class&equals;"zf-video-wrapper">&NewLine; <video controls ><source type&equals;"video&sol;mp4" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;thehootstudents&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2026&sol;04&sol;VID-20250726-WA0009&period;mp4" &sol;><&sol;video> <&sol;div>&NewLine; <figcaption class&equals;"zfCaption">&NewLine; <cite class&equals;"zfCredit"><&sol;cite>&NewLine; <&sol;figcaption>&NewLine; <&sol;figure>&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>A video of Kit Renard being blessed by a Sister of Perpetual Indulgence from the House of Nunsense&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine; <&sol;div>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<&sol;div>
