I’m excellent at starting things; I’m practically a pro.
I’m an in-the-pocket, always rocked it, master of nouveau.
I’m a connoisseur, entrepreneur, and now I’m learning French, monsieur.
And German, Klingon, Portuguese, and how to make the perfect cheese.
I’m working on a book or two, considering to start a zoo.
Enrolled at university, and drying my own potpourri.
I’m painting, dancing, building boats; I’m writing symphonies and code.
I’m into nature and write blogs about the mating call of frogs.
I bake π and I calculate, split atoms on my coffee break.
Enough today, it’s getting late, just let me quickly recreate…
The hanging gardens of Babylon, and while I’m at it, I’ll write a song.
I tried to be a one-man band, did not work out as I had planned.
I ended up an orchestra, played music from baroque to ska.
I taught myself how to plié and joined the National Ballet.
I want to be a poet. No! A rocket scientist. There is nary an endeavor that I’m able to resist.
But it’s too much and I’m juggling. I’m weighed down and I’m struggling.
I don’t know how to fix this mess. I need a time machine, unless…
I start again tomorrow. I will climb the Kilimanjaro.
And ignore what I learned yesterday. I’m sure I’ll find a better way.
New pens, new shoes, new attitude, forget the tasks that I accrued.
