The Open University is committed to tackling racial inequalities and making our university a more inclusive place to be, where everyone, regardless of their race, ethnicity, or national origin, can succeed. We invite you to talk to us in an online focus group to help us develop an action plan for positive change.
We are running a series of focus groups (each 1 hour), and as a thank you for taking part you will receive a £25 Amazon shopping voucher.
- The focus groups will be a safe space, moderated by OU staff experienced in working with students discussing race and equality.
- They are the opportunity to share your ideas and opinions on how the OU student experience can be improved.
- You will be encouraged to discuss ideas about improving race equity generated by a survey of OU students in 2024.
- You can share as much, or as little, about your own experience as a student as you are comfortable.
