Step Up for OUSET has officially started!
What is step up for OUSET you may ask, or even what is OUSET?
Well, these are precisely the kinds of questions we want to answer through this campaign!
OUSET, short for the Open University Students Educational Trust – is a grant-giving Trust helping OU students in financial hardship. It helps students to continue their studies and achieve their academic goals and dreams through administering study-related grants.
For more information about OUSET, have a look at the page on our website,
This autumn OUSET has teamed up with OU Fit to run a fundraising campaign to help raise awareness of OUSET for OU students while raising funds for the Trust to aid its grant-giving activities.
With help from the thriving OU Fit community, we wish to promote wellness during these later months, when the days get shorter and the weather a little colder. It can be hard to stay motivated to go outside or exercise at this time, but it can really help our physical and mental wellbeing. So why not join Step Up for OUSET our distance challenge to help you stay active this autumn? You can run, walk, roll, skate, climb, or swim – really anything that means you can send us your distance in any format which we will convert with our handy calculator!
Step Up for OUSET is a distance challenge running over 10 weeks from 6 October to 15 December 2023. Our aim is to reach our goal of 2121K – which is the distance between the four nations’ OU offices!
