We can’t believe we are already nearly through January! The CU is very excited about 2026, not least because of all the events we are going to be running. Here’s an update on what we are doing:
Bible Studies – these are usually on a Monday night, although we have a few now running throughout the week. These are often topical and are a great way to ask questions, see answers, have fellowship, and get to know what we are doing. We seek to study the Bible, and our wonderful group of volunteers work hard to make these sessions fun and engaging.
Socials – these really are an amazing opportunity to get to know your fellow students! A chance to laugh, chat, play games and connect – our social evenings are a real highlight.
All these groups and activities are online via Discord, and we connect with each other on our WhatsApp group chat.

We are a group of students from different walks of life, but who are united by our faith. Our aim is to support other Christian students, staff and alumni, and to create a community of Christians studying with The Open University, as well as sharing more about what we believe in with our wider community of students, staff and alumnI.
