Members of the Student Leadership Team delivered an impactful session to OU Associate Lecturers on student mental health last week.

Deputy President Gareth Jones, Vice President Natalie Baker, and Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Rep Tommy Rowlands delivered the session on services provided by the Students Association, which included insights into the different ways that issues around mental health can impact on the student journey.

Vice President Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Natalie Baker, said: “It was great to deliver what is a really important session to lecturers who are directly interacting with students all the time. We hope that this session will help them to better understand and accommodate students who are suffering with mental ill health.”
